Hi Mike,
just found your blog through OH. Your writing is amazing. I am glad to have found this; and be able to follow you through it all. I am a Canadian woman, with a slim healthy husband, and 2 children for whom I wish to be around many more years. I am pursuing Bariatric surgery as well. The process is a little different here, but hopefully, we will both end up in the same place. So much of what you have written about depression (fat, and garden variety) resonates with me. I get it, all too well. Right down to the box of cookies for lunch. Surely, we can find all four food groups in there somewhere, no? 😉
See you in cyberland.
Steph.

I used to feel the same way. But post op – eh. I can do without it. Especially when eating it makes me feel like I’m going to vomit my guts up.
